The monthly parcel, and framed route maps.

Membership

One parcel. Three ways to pay for it.

Every member gets the same parcel: all six pieces, every month, wrapped in kraft, tied and wax sealed.

Pay monthly and stop when you like, or pay once for three or twelve months, which is the tidy way to give it to somebody else.

When you pay, and when it arrives

If you join today

  1. When you join£14.99 for your first parcel.
  2. Dec 2026Your first parcel is posted in the first week of December 2026: Kinnaber, Part Two.
  3. From 23 DecThen £14.99 on the 23rd of each month, starting on 23 December 2026, for the next month’s parcel.

You pay once today, and nothing again until 23 December 2026, after your first parcel has been posted. We take payment on the 23rd, two days before the list closes, so there is time to sort out a card problem before anything goes in the post. These dates apply if you join by 25 November 2026.

Buying for someone else

Enter their address at checkout and your own email for the account. You manage the membership; they get the post. Nothing inside mentions what it cost. A three or twelve month term is the easier gift, because it ends on its own and leaves them nothing to cancel.

Joining part way through

Each journey runs over three parcels, and each one is told by a different person on the same train, so a chapter stands up on its own. If you join in the middle of a journey, your first parcel is the next part.

The small print

Paid by card when you join, then on the 23rd of each month for the next parcel, or once for a three or twelve month term that ends on its own. Cancel from your account at any time; no minimum term. Prices include VAT where applicable and UK postage; to Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand the postage is added at checkout, by Royal Mail International Standard, and the price of the parcel itself is the same. If a parcel goes missing, tell us and we send another. If you cancel within 14 days of your first parcel arriving and want that month refunded, you post the parcel and its contents back to us at your own cost. Full terms and your cancellation rights: Terms and Cancellation. More answers on the questions page, and what we do with your address on the privacy page.

Receipts come to the email on the account.
