Who is responsible

What we collect and why

Your name, email address and delivery address, so that we can post your envelopes and run your account. Payment details are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. Your archive activity, so the site remembers your large-print preference and where you left off. Marketing preferences, only with your consent.

Emails

We send service emails about your membership. We send marketing emails only if you have opted in or are an existing customer who was offered an opt-out when you joined, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments), [email provider] (emails), [hosting provider] (the website and database), and Royal Mail (the address on your envelope). Nobody else.

How long we keep it

While you are a member and for twelve months after, then deleted, except invoice records we must keep for tax law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@therailwaydispatch.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
